Meet Joseph Ellison

Joseph Ellison is an author, entrepreneur, and father of eight from Jacksonville, Florida. He writes children’s stories that encourage kindness, friendship, confidence, and a love of learning.

His Max books invite young readers to explore everyday adventures through playful stories. His memoir, Started with Nothing, shares his personal journey through hardship, faith, forgiveness, and determination.

Inspired by his family and life experiences, Joseph hopes to give children stories they enjoy and remind readers of all ages that their beginnings do not have to define their future.
